파랑반
파랑반은9세와 10세의 학생들로 이루어져 있습니다. 주로 한국학교 기초과정을 통해 한국어를 배워온 학생들이 대부분이며 한국어를 말하고 듣고 읽고 쓸 수 있습니다.
파랑반은 한국어 중급 2 과정으로 맞춤 한국어 4를 주교재로 하고 있으며 16개의 단원을 두학기로 나누어 배웁니다. 장래 희망, 시간, 행사, 여행 계획, 체험 학습 등의 주제를 세분화하여 새 단어를 익히고 문법을 체계적으로 익히고 배웁니다. 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기가 골고루 통합되어 한국어 의사 소통 능력을 종합적으로 향상시키는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 학생들은K-pop댄스, 리코더, 태권도, 한국 전통음악 및 무용, 한국예술과 문화 수업에 참여하게 되고, 교내 한국어 동화구연대회, 교내 마스코트 공모전, 교내 포스터 공모전에 응모함으로써, 한국의 전통문화 및 역사에 관한 지식도 넓히게 됩니다.
The Blue class (Intermediate II)) is comprised of 8 to 9 year olds. These students have completed the beginner’s courses (I, II, III)at MKS and are able to speak, read, and write Korean proficiently.
The class uses Customized Korean 4 (맞춤 한국어 4) as the main textbook and learn about 16 different topics throughout a year. Students learn advanced vocabulary, complicated sentence structures, and discuss personal goals, the time, holidays and events in Korean culture, and their vacation experiences. The ultimate goal is to advance students’ Korean proficiency in all language areas so students will be able to freely express their thoughts verbally and in writing. Students participate in K-Pop dance, recorder, Taekwondo, Korean traditional music and dance, and Korean Arts and Culture classes. Students can extend their knowledge in Korean traditional culture and history by entering the school’s Korean story-telling contest, school mascot competition, and poster contest.
