무지개반
12세 이상의 학생들로 무지개반은 한국학교의 가장 고급 과정입니다. 이 과정을 마치면 한국학교를 졸업하게 됩니다.
한국어 4를 주교재로 사용하며 그 이외에도 한국 초등학교 교과서와 한국 전래동화책을 활용하고 사자성어와 한문도 배우게 됩니다. 주제에 관한 문단의 글을 읽고 자신의 의견을 말할 수 있으며 설명문의 구조를 이해하고 간단한 짧은 생활 수필을 쓸 수 있습니다. 학생들은 K-pop댄스, 리코더, 태권도, 한국전통 음악 및 무용, 한국예술과 문화 수업에 참여하게 되고, 교내 한국어 동화구연대회, 교내 마스코트 공모전, 교내 포스터 공모전에 응모함으로써, 한국의 전통 문화 및 역사에 관한 지식도 넓힐 수 있습니다.
Rainbow Class, composed of 12-year-old or older students, is the most advanced course in Manhattan Korean School.
After completing this course, students graduate. Rainbow Class uses Korean 4 as the main textbook and Korean elementary school textbooks and Korean traditional storybooks as supporting materials. In addition, students study Chinese characters and 4 character idioms. Students will be able to read a paragraph according to a selected topic, articulate their thoughts on the topic, understand the passage’s structure, and write a short, simple essay. Students participate in K-Pop dance, recorder, Taekwondo, Korean traditional music and dance, and Korean Arts and Culture classes. In addition, students can broaden their knowledge in Korean traditional culture and history by entering the school’s Korean story-telling contest, school mascot competition, and poster contest
