빨강반
에너지로 가득찬 4세반을 소개합니다. 가끔 엄마 아빠와 헤어지는 게 익숙하지 않은 친구들은 아침에 눈물을 글썽이기도 하지만 엄마 아빠모습이 보이지 않는 순간 옆 친구들과 재잘재잘 떠들기 시작합니다.
빨강반에서는 ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ…자음과 아,야,어,… 모음을 신체표현이나 노래, 게임, 낱말카드, 기억력게임, 학습지활동 등 다양한 활동을 통하여 배우고 있습니다. 자음과 모양의 소리를 익히고 글자를 바르게쓰기, 또한 주제와 관련된 다양한 어휘를 듣고 말하기 등을 통하여 언어능력을 향상시킵니다.
계절, 동물, 교통수단, 몸의부분, 채소과일 등과 같은 주제학습을 통하여 일상생활에서 쓰이는 낱말과 어휘도 배우며 이 어휘를 이용하여 일상생활에 필요한 표현을 익힙니다.
한국어를 집에서 많이 쓰지않아 어색한 학생들도 한국학교에서 만큼은 한국어로 노래도 부르고 대답도 우렁차게 잘 합니다. 간식 먹으러 가는 학생들은 한줄로서서 기차노래를 부르며 줄을 잘맞춰서 내려가는 모습이 너무 대견스럽습니다. 친구들과 함께 배우고 활동하는 한국동요및 율동시간 그리고 한국전통놀이 시간은 한국어 시간에 조용하던 학생들도 흥미를 가지고 적극적으로 수업에 참여하게 합니다.
Early Beginner II. Let me introduce our energetic 4-year-olds’ class. Sometimes, our young students are not used to being separated from their parents, but as soon as their parents leave, they begin to get comfortable and talk with one another.
In Red Class, students learn consonants, such as ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ…, and vowels, such as 아 야 어…, using body gestures, songs, games, flashcards, memory games, and worksheets. The students develop their linguistic abilities through familiarizing the sound of the vowel and the consonant, writing them out, and articulating after hearing the words from the teacher. We teach them words that describe the weather, animals, transportation, body parts, fruit, and vegetables, giving them common words and phrases that they will use everyday. Even students who feel uncomfortable speaking Korean due to a lack of practice at home still answer questions with confidence and sing along. I feel proud when my students form one line and sing the train song on their way to eat snacks. The children’s songs and games bring students together and students participate with joy and enthusiasm.
